There are altogether 32 central towns and 100 central villages at the city level. By 2010, the central towns are required to reach the construction aim of “ten Ones” and the central villages to the aim of “five Ones”. Now, the construction of the central towns and villages, concentrating on the rebuilding of old villages, cleaning up, environmental renovation and the elimination of poverty, has made new headway. There are one central town which has arrived at aim of “ten Ones”, and 33 central villages at the aim of “five Ones”. More than 50 old villages have completed there rebuilding, among which 27 are with their own characteristics. And 38 villages along the road line have completed renovation and 450.000 square meters of ramshackle houses in the rural area been reconstructed. In addition, over 50 villages together have finished resettlement by leaving mountains for the elimination of poverty.
