义乌糖洋

Tangyang

糖洋是夏季的一种甜品小吃,主要由大米、蔗糖、水三种原料经过多道工序制作而成,吃起来口感很滑,但比豆腐又多了些柔糯。

Tangyang is a kind of sweet snack in the summer, mainly made from rice, cane sugar and water through multiple processes. It has a smooth texture, and it is also slightly more tender and stickier than tofu.

义乌东河肉饼

Donghe meat pie

东河肉饼是浙江义乌传统小吃,始于清嘉庆年间,由猪肉等食材制成,鲜香、油而不腻、色泽光亮。

Donghe meat pie is a traditional snack in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, which can be traced back to the reign of Emperor Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty. It is made from ingredients such as pork, and is renowned for its bright color, freshness and fragrance, and oily but not greasy taste.

东阳沃面

Womian Noodles

一般来说煮面怕糊,但东阳的沃面偏偏以“糊口”著称。据说,早年在东阳民间,人们习惯用剩菜煮面条,再加入淀粉使之呈糊状,煮出来的面却是风味奇佳。

Generally speaking, people tend to avoid overcooking noodles, but Dongyang’s “Womian Noodles” are famous for their “paste-like” texture. It is said that in the past, people in Dongyang used to cook noodles with leftovers and added starch to make it paste-like. Surprisingly, the resulting noodles were delicious and unique in flavor.

酒糟核桃

酒糟核桃最早作为一种药材出现——红曲,拥有神奇的药用功效。冷冷的冬日,来一碗热腾腾带着醉人香气的核桃酒,绝对是一种享受。

Boiled distillers grains with walnuts initially appeared as a type of red yeast rice used in traditional Chinese medicine, and has miraculous medicinal effects. On a cold winter day, a bowl of steaming hot walnut wine with its intoxicating aroma is definitely a treat.
